News has learned.<\/p>\n<p>As season 14 came to an end in May, the 47-year-old was one of four original cast members remaining, joining costars<strong> David Eigenberg<\/strong> (Christopher Herrmann), <strong>Christian Stolte <\/strong>(Randy &#8220;Mouch&#8221; McHolland) and <strong>Taylor Kinney<\/strong> (Kelly Severide)\u2014though NBC hasn\u2019t shared whether all three will return for season 15.<\/p>\n<p>E! News has reached out to NBC but has not received a comment.<\/p>\n<p>But Chi-Hards (the nickname for the series&#8217; fandom) can rest assured Cruz and his fictional family&#8217;s storylines\u2014which includes Cruz\u2019s wife Chloe Cruz (played by <strong>Kristen Gutoskie<\/strong>) learning she\u2019s pregnant with twins\u2014won&#8217;t go unfinished.
