Theron is no longer attached to the project at the Melrose Ave lot, but the <em>It <\/em>filmmakers remain, producing under their Double Dream label. Adam Goldworm\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/aperture-entertainment\/\" id=\"auto-tag_aperture-entertainment\" data-tag=\"aperture-entertainment\">Aperture Entertainment<\/a>, which reps Hendrix, continues to produce as well. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tParamount Pictures is also developing Hendrix\u2019s novella,\u00a0<em>BadAsstronauts<\/em>. Todd Garner and Goldworm are attached to produce and Hendrix is executive producing that project. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe title of Hendrix\u2019s <em>New York Times <\/em>bestseller from Random House\/Berkley refers to a Los Angeles\u2013based therapeutic support group for six \u201cfinal girls\u201d\u2014 survivors of mass-murderer rampages whose experiences inspired the slasher franchises that saturated horror cinema in the 1980s and \u201990s, earning them minor celebrity. <em>The Final Girl Support Group <\/em>also received the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Horror Novel of 2021. Hendrix will serve as an EP on the film.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tLandon most recently directed the Blumhouse thriller\u00a0<em>Drop<\/em>\u00a0starring Meghann Fahy and Brandon Sklenar for Universal Pictures. Previously, Landon was brought into the <em>Paranormal Activity<\/em> franchise by Paramount Pictures, writing and producing\u00a0<em>Paranormal Activity 2<\/em>,\u00a0<em>3\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>4,<\/em> as well as writing and directing its spinoff\u00a0<em>Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones.\u00a0<\/em>Additionally, he directed the feature\u00a0<em>Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse\u00a0<\/em>for Paramount Pictures. He also directed and wrote the\u00a0<em>Happy Death Day<\/em>\u00a0franchise. The filmmaker also co-wrote and directed\u00a0<em>Freaky<\/em>, starring Vince Vaughn and Kathryn Newton for Universal, and Netflix\u2019s\u00a0<em>We Have A Ghost<\/em>, starring David Harbour, Anthony Mackie, and Jennifer Coolidge.\u00a0Landon is repped by WME, Mosaic and Goodman Genow Schenkman Smelkinson &amp; Christopher.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tGoldworm is producing\u00a0<em>Hannibal<\/em>\u00a0at Netflix with Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua. Goldworm\/Aperture is very active in the horror space with\u00a0<em>Alpha\u00a0<\/em>at Netflix UK with Taron Egerton, and several Hendrix projects including\u00a0<em>The Blanks<\/em>\u00a0at Netflix,\u00a0<em>Ankle Snatcher<\/em>\u00a0at Sony with Ben Leonberg directing and Escape Artists producing, and\u00a0<em>Horrorst\u00f6r<\/em>\u00a0at Searchlight with Jonathan Levine directing.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tHendrix\u2019s books have sold more than 2 million copies around the world.
