Call or text\u00a0988\u00a0or chat at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/988lifeline.org\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|z|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">988lifeline.org<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">New details have emerged surrounding the circumstances of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/tv\/2026\/04\/22\/darrell-sheets-death-storage-wars\/89740322007\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Darrell Sheets&#8217; suicide<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Nearly three months after the &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/celebrities\/2023\/03\/23\/gunter-nezhoda-storage-wars-dead-lung-cancer\/11531840002\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Storage Wars<\/a>&#8221; star died at the age of 67 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/tv\/2026\/05\/05\/darrell-sheets-cause-of-death-storage-wars\/89949646007\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">from a self-inflicted gunshot wound<\/a>, the Lake Havasu City Police Department has released its full incident report, obtained by USA TODAY.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">Sheets was found dead in his western Arizona home at around 2 a.m. local time April 22, and authorities later confirmed they were investigating &#8220;allegations of cyberbullying associated with this case&#8221; after the TV personality&#8217;s costar\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/celebrities\/2026\/04\/23\/darrell-sheets-storage-wars-rene-nezhoda-cyberbullying\/89756248007\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Rene Nezhoda alleged Sheets<\/a>\u00a0&#8220;had a guy really, really tormenting him lately.&#8221;<\/p>\n<aside aria-label=\"advertisement\" class=\"gnt_x__c gnt_x__lbl gnt_x__al\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The incident report now reveals authorities located a note hidden in a closet near where Sheets was discovered, which was written in what appeared to be shaky handwriting. Investigators said he was &#8220;extremely uncooperative,&#8221; denied any involvement in Sheets&#8217; death and insisted he was &#8220;nowhere near&#8221; Arizona at the time. According to the report, the man said he had been receiving &#8220;death threats&#8221; and declined to answer additional questions.<\/p>\n<aside aria-label=\"advertisement\" class=\"gnt_x__c gnt_x__lbl gnt_x__al\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">The night Sheets died, his girlfriend said he was sitting in the garage on his phone after dinner when he received texts from his daughter-in-law saying his girlfriend was &#8220;suspicious and that she was stealing money from&#8221; Sheets, the report said. His girlfriend noted he &#8220;was sad and upset&#8221; by the messages.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">She told detectives she left to pick up Sheets&#8217; granddaughter for work at about 8 p.m., and when she returned, she told detectives Sheets was in bed. Later that night, she said he couldn&#8217;t sleep so he got up, which woke her.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"gnt_em gnt_em_anc\" id=\"gnt_atomsnc\" data-g-r=\"lazy\" data-gl-method=\"loadAnc\" aria-label=\"Newsletter signup form\"\/>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">When she went to look for him, she told investigators she saw him in his office chair with what she believed to be a handgun to his head. She said Sheets sounded like he was crying and yelled at her to &#8220;go back to bed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">According to the report, Sheets&#8217; girlfriend pleaded with him while backing away and heard one gunshot.
