A clip <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/04\/jumanji-3-title-first-look-cinemacon-1236859472\/\">had previously been played<\/a> in April at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, though this trailer starts out a bit differently.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe clip features Spencer (Alex Wolff) and friends summoned to Nora\u2019s where his grandfather (Danny DeVito) gestures over his shoulder to a familiar, glinting bald head that can only signal the return of one Dr. Blackstone (<a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/dwayne-johnson\/\" id=\"auto-tag_dwayne-johnson\" data-tag=\"dwayne-johnson\">Dwayne Johnson<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWith the entrance of <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/jack-black\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jack-black\" data-tag=\"jack-black\">Jack Black<\/a>\u2019s avatar Oberon and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/karen-gillan\/\" id=\"auto-tag_karen-gillan\" data-tag=\"karen-gillan\">Karen Gillan<\/a>\u2019s Ruby Roundhoyse and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/kevin-hart\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kevin-hart\" data-tag=\"kevin-hart\">Kevin Hart<\/a>\u2019s Franklin \u2018Mouse\u2019 Finbar, it becomes clear that Jumanji, the video game, has invated the real world with each of the core four characters stuck in \u201cdemo mode.\u201d Thus, Bravestone speaks in a Spanish accent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019m beginning to suspect,\u201d Black\u2019s avatar says, \u201cthat we\u2019re not in Jumanji.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<strong>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/05\/minecraft-movie-sequel-title-1236931057\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/05\/minecraft-movie-sequel-title-1236931057\/\">Warner Bros Unveils Title For \u2018A Minecraft Movie\u2019 Sequel<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tDirector Jake Kasdan also returns new shenanigans and adventures as the videogame characters navigate the real world. Also back to produce are Matt Tolmach, Johnson, Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia and Kasdan. Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg wrote the screenplay.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThhe threequel\u2019s cast also includes Rhys Darby and Nick Jonas. Brittany O\u2019Grady can also be spotted in the trailer. Set to Europe\u2019s \u201cThe Final Countdown,\u201d ostriches, rhinoceroses, lizards, oxes and more creatures cause chaos in the clip.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tFootage <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/04\/jumanji-3-title-first-look-cinemacon-1236859472\/\">played for the room only at CinemaCon<\/a> opened on a computer repairman (Lamorne Morris) coming into the home of Janice (Marin Hinkle), the mother of Wolf\u2019s teen protagonist. Of course, Morris\u2019 repairman finds an old video game console before the exterior of a house is shown with supernatural clouds brewing over it and a shot of ostriches storming through the streets of the real world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<em>Jumanji: Open World<\/em>\u00a0is the third film in a series from Sony reimagining the property, about teens pulled into the world of a game, for a modern audience. First, there was\u00a0<em>Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle\u00a0<\/em>(2017), and then there was\u00a0<em>Jumanji: The Next Level\u00a0<\/em>(2019).
