Most people don\u2019t want it \u2014 except supporters of Israel. They\u2019re the only people that seem to be thinking it\u2019s a good idea in this country. Most people are horrified by the idea, because Trump was elected [and] one of the pillars that he stood for, apparently, was that he doesn\u2019t want any more wars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lowe backed him up, saying it was \u201cdifficult to see what the benefit\u201d of the war was. At the same time, he said Iran had been financing a \u201cvery bad philosophy\u201d by giving dough to Hamas and Hezbollah.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan\u2019s remarks aired shortly after Trump announced the ceasefire with Iran<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/trump-tears-up-iran-ceasefire-trashes-scum-regime-leaders\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> was over<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The president said Iran\u2019s \u201cscum\u201d leaders needed to pay for attacking ships in the Strait of Hormuz, and the U.S. Military<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/just-in-trump-drops-more-bombs-on-iran-to-try-and-secure-the-strait-of-hormuz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> started striking Iranian forces<\/a> on Wednesday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan\u2019s latest gripe added to an increasingly beefy list of times where he has ripped Trump over the war. He slammed Trump over it less than two weeks after the war started, saying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/joe-rogan-nukes-trumps-insane-iran-war-people-feel-betrayed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">it was \u201cinsane\u201d<\/a> and that \u201cpeople feel betrayed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He kept the criticism going in April, saying <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/podcasts\/i-cant-believe-we-went-to-this-war-joe-rogan-and-theo-von-trash-trumps-decision-to-go-into-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">he \u201ccan\u2019t believe\u201d<\/a> Trump launched the war. And Rogan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/podcasts\/joe-rogan-slams-trumps-iran-war-after-chummy-white-house-visit-how-do-you-get-out-of-this\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">blasted it<\/a> once again a few weeks later, right after he stood behind Trump during a press conference in the Oval Office. The two guys seemed like the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/tv\/trump-ribs-little-bit-more-liberal-joe-rogan-at-white-house-event-amid-iran-criticism\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> best of chums<\/a> at that event, in which Trump<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfmd.com\/2026\/04\/20\/joe-rogan-reveals-text-to-trump-that-helped-expedite-federal-review-of-psychedelics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> eased restrictions<\/a> on psychoactive medications.<\/p>\n<p>Rogan fans at this point may be getting whiplash from his Trump takes, because the podcaster recently praised Trump\u2019s UFC \u201cFreedom 250\u201d fights at the White House \u2014 after initially trashing it.
