Sources tell Deadline that Universal Pictures has greenlighted her holiday comedy <em><a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/naughty\/\" id=\"auto-tag_naughty\" data-tag=\"naughty\">Naughty<\/a> <\/em>and tapped <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/jennifer-aniston\/\" id=\"auto-tag_jennifer-aniston\" data-tag=\"jennifer-aniston\">Jennifer Aniston<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/peter-dinklage\/\" id=\"auto-tag_peter-dinklage\" data-tag=\"peter-dinklage\">Peter Dinklage<\/a> to star. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe studio also dated the pic for November 5, 2027. LuckyChap is producing.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t<em>Naughty\u00a0<\/em>follows\u00a0Mallory (Aniston), whose only hope of securing custody of her son from her gaslighting trash-bag ex is to find Santa Claus (Dinklage) and convince him to testify at her divorce hearing. The film has had the best platform release of the year,\u00a0reinforcing the urgency for theatrical comedies. So far it has earned $20mm US and $16mm internationally with most European markets yet to release.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe film has a critic rating of 97% on Rotten Tomatoes, one of the highest of the year with 90% of people in exit polls recommended seeing it in the theater as an experience vs at home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tWhile she has spent a lot of her time recently earning Emmy nominations for her critically acclaimed role in the Apple drama series <em>The Morning Show, <\/em>Aniston is no stranger to making audiences laugh for the last couple of decades going back to her Emmy-winning role on <em>Friends. <\/em>Since then her hit comedies have included <em>We\u2019re The Millers, The Breakup <\/em>and<em> <\/em>the <em>Murder Mystery <\/em>movies and this film feels like a return to form.
