A source who spotted her at the New York studio described her as \u201clovely\u201d and \u201cjust the sweetest most adorable girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The news first surfaced during Rosie O\u2019Donnell\u2019s interview with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/rosie-o-donnell-on-her-longtime-friendship-with-madonna-12023035\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PEOPLE.<\/a>\u00a0She shared, \u201cWe text each other often, and I just saw her daughter on Watch What Happens Live. Her daughter, Mercy, works there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She then explained how the introduction unfolded. \u201cAndy goes \u2018look!\u2019 And I thought he was introducing me to just a staff member,\u201d O\u2019Donnell said. \u201cI was like, \u2018Hi, what\u2019s your name?\u2019 And she goes, \u2018Rosie, it\u2019s Mercy!\u2019 And I was like, \u2018Oh my God, what are you doing here?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Donnell added that Mercy had already worked on the show for \u201clike a year or so,\u201d before saying she felt \u201cvery happy for her and proud of her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The BTS role stands out because Madonna has famously never appeared on Watch What Happens Live. Even though the show\u2019s been long-running since 2009.<\/p>\n<p>The pop icon has even playfully teased Cohen over the years. During her 2023 Celebration Tour stop in New York City, she spotted him in the audience and joked, \u201cIf you say one more bad thing about me on your show\u2026 you\u2019re gonna be in so much trouble.
