Well, three to be precise. All good: AFC Richmond will probably take care of that.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tOn Tuesday, Apple TV released the trailer (below) for the 10-episode fourth season of its crown jewel <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> \u2014 this whole thing <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/ted-lasso-returns-jason-sudeikis-interview-season-four-1236653124\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-features\/ted-lasso-returns-jason-sudeikis-interview-season-four-1236653124\/\">came so close to never happening<\/a>. <em>Ted Lasso<\/em> season four premieres with just one episode on Wednesday, Aug. 5; the remaining nine episodes will roll out one at a time each Wednesday through Oct. 7. Apple has every reason to want to extend this thing \u2014 who knows how, when and even if we\u2019ll get more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAfter a few years back in the states, in season four, Ted (Jason Sudeikis) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/video\/rapid-fire-questions-ted-lasso-cast-jason-sudeikis-thought-show-was-done\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/video\/rapid-fire-questions-ted-lasso-cast-jason-sudeikis-thought-show-was-done\/\">returns to Richmond<\/a>, \u201ctaking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women\u2019s football team,\u201d the synopsis reads. \u201cThroughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe familiar faces are pretty much all there \u2014 minus the men\u2019s players, that is. Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift all return for season four. Jack Burditt joins their ranks this season under a new overall deal with Apple TV. Goldstein is writer and executive producer alongside Leann Bowen. Sarah Walker and Phoebe Walsh are writers and producers for season four; Sasha Garron co-produces. Julia Lindon will write for season four, and Dylan Marron will serve as story editor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBill Lawrence executive produces via his Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television. Doozer\u2019s Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer also serve as executive producers. The series was developed by Sudeikis, Lawrence, Kelly and Hunt, and is based on the terrific, old NBC Sports commercials.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t<em>Ted Lasso<\/em> won back-to-back best comedy Emmys for its <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-reviews\/ted-lasso-review-1306471\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-reviews\/ted-lasso-review-1306471\/\">first two seasons<\/a>. Season three was a bit of a regression, and seemed to serve as the natural conclusion for the series.
