Winn. \u201cBringing \u2018Chrysalis\u2019 to theaters in Vietnam is deeply personal,\u201d Winn said. \u201cThis story grew out of my childhood and the love of my grandmother, and I hope Vietnamese audiences see something of their own families and memories in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tDirected by J. Robert Schulz from a screenplay by Andrew Creme, based on a story by Winn, Randall J. Slavin and Schulz, the film stars <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/t\/kieu-chinh\/\" id=\"auto-tag_kieu-chinh\" data-tag=\"kieu-chinh\">Kieu Chinh<\/a> as B\u00e0 N\u1ed9i, the grandmother at the heart of the story, with Winn appearing in the present-day storyline. The cast also includes Uy Nhan, Samuel An, Lan Thy, Le Anh Huy, Tien Pham and Trinh Tu Trung.
