It\u2019s no doubt been particularly devastating for Kate, who was his <a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/liam-payne-posting-snapchat-girlfriend-kate-cassidy-minutes-before-death\/\">girlfriend at the time of his death<\/a>. They were clearly so in love, and she\u2019s been open and honest about struggling to move on from the tragedy. She explained that she\u2019s always missing Liam, and she said she likes to look back at some of the love letters he wrote her when she\u2019s feeling particularly down.<\/p>\n<p>She said in the video:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI was just reading this one letter and I have to say sometimes his handwriting is a little messy. So sometimes I struggle reading his letters, but for my birthday he bought me a car. I feel like if you\u2019ve lost somebody, it almost helps to read a letter and think as if they wrote it literally like from heaven and they\u2019re giving it to you like today.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Kate then read the letter that Liam wrote her:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI hope whenever you take a journey you remember I\u2019m alongside you body and spirit. In every drive you remember how much you have driven me and all the hopes and dreams I have for your future. You\u2019re taking the gorgeous road to finding yourself and I can\u2019t wait to be there for every speed bump, left and right turn and roundabout. I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>So precious.
