During the 5-day preliminary hearing, authorities alleged the singer, born David Burke, played a significant role in the killing and dismemberment of the teen. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also claimed she had threatened to expose their relationship and end his career before her death. Prosecutors alleged Rivas Hernandez threatened D4vd. She arrived in an Uber he had sent to pick her up. Her final text read, \u201cgirly pop i\u2019m almost there open ur door if ur home.\u201d Prosecutors alleged the singer stabbed the teen to death when she came came through the door. The night before, the two argued about his relationship with another woman. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The teen sent him an angry and explicit text saying she would tell her dad lies about him and added, \u201ci will end ur career and ur life.\u201d According to ABC News, D4vd had no visible reaction to the judge\u2019s decision to stand trial.
