She was swiftly brought to a hospital and was reportedly in stable condition the following day, according to multiple outlets. A report then emerged about the couple\u2019s son, <strong>Elijah Zion Bieniemy<\/strong>, and his alleged involvement in his mother\u2019s shooting, though no one from the family has spoken out about Elijah at the time of publication.<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-3\">The Chiefs told <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/wife-of-chiefs-offensive-coordinator-eric-bieniemy-shot-at-couples-home-report-12027298\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\"><em>People<\/em><\/a> in a statement that the team is \u201caware of the incident involving Eric Bieniemy\u2019s family.\u201d The statement concluded, \u201cOut of respect for their privacy, we won\u2019t have a comment at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-4\">Chiefs Coach <strong>Andy Reid<\/strong> also weighed in on the situation on July 27. Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/49462234\/sources-wife-chiefs-eric-bieniemy-shot-couple-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">ESPN<\/a>, Reid said, \u201cOur hearts go out to Eric Bieniemy. Mia is stable, which is a plus. We all love EB, and you hate seeing those things happen. \u2026 The most important thing is that EB has an opportunity to spend some time [with his family] and take care of that business. Everybody loves EB. He\u2019s a great person. \u2026 Things happen. You have to work through it and time will have to be involved in this to help heal a little bit. It\u2019ll all work out in the long run.\u201d<\/p>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-5\">Here\u2019s what we know about Elijah and his mother Mia\u2019s shooting.<\/p>\n<h2>Who Shot Eric Bieniemy\u2019s Wife, Mia?<\/h2>\n<p id=\"content-paragraph-6\">According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/nfl\/story\/_\/id\/49462234\/sources-wife-chiefs-eric-bieniemy-shot-couple-home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-analytics-trigger=\"article-body-link\">ESPN<\/a>, the person who shot Mia was her son, Elijah.
