Ed Weeks, who plays Charles, and Allegra Edwards, who portrays Liz, revealed that those conversations have come up. But in the quote below, they detail how a shared crossover would be tricky because of shared actors:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>Ash Crossan: <\/strong>Same creators as Ghosts, right? So, are they in the same universe or no?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ed Weeks:<\/strong> We&#8217;ve spoken about this. We would love a crossover. I don&#8217;t know how much in the same universe they necessarily are. I mean, you played characters on both.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Allegra Edwards:<\/strong> Yes, I was on season three and four of Ghosts, sweet little guest star that I loved, and then Rose has also been on Ghost as well, or Phyllis. And so it would be interesting to work out how that multiverse happens. We want to do it.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>When it came to populating the cast of <em>Eternally Yours<\/em>, which also includes Parker Young, Helen J. Shen, Jaren Lewison, Rose Abdoo, Tristan Michael Brown, and Shylo Molina, Port and Wiseman partly selected from <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/ghosts-season-4-cast-character-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\">actors they&#8217;ve worked with on <em>Ghosts<\/em><\/a>. Edwards plays the recurring role of the spirit Donna, appearing in three episodes and receiving occasional mentions.<\/p>\n<p>Abdoo, a veteran performer known for her roles on <em>Gilmore Girls <\/em>and <em>Hacks<\/em>, has recently recurred on <em>Ghosts <\/em>as Paula, Sam&#8217;s producer friend. That doesn&#8217;t make a crossover impossible. <em>Stuart Fails to Save the Universe<\/em>, a spinoff of <em>The Big Bang Theory<\/em>, is showing how a comedy franchise can tackle the multiverse concept that&#8217;s usually reserved for movies.<\/p>\n<p>For now, though, it does sound like <em>Eternally Yours <\/em>and <em>Ghosts <\/em>will focus on their own separate stories. In the case of the former, it means introducing viewers to Charles and Liz. They&#8217;ve been married for 500 years and are in a rut, noticing that the spark has left their marriage. But their life in Seattle is threatened when their daughter brings her human boyfriend home.<\/p>\n<p>As for <em><strong>Ghosts<\/strong><\/em>, it will return for two special supersized episodes that are timed for Halloween and Christmas. Those episodes will introduce viewers to <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/ghosts-season-6-christmas-special-episodes-plot-details-hetty-sister\/\" target=\"_blank\">a new kind of spirit<\/a>. So even though a crossover isn&#8217;t in the cards right now, both sitcoms have a lot to look forward to.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"w-display-card-list w-display-card-list-screen even-cards
