Or is he just lazily calling CNN \u201cfake\u201d in general? At this point, no one really knows what Trump\u2019s trying to say \u2014 least of all Trump himself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut I don\u2019t mind, I said, \u2018Kaitlan, congratulations,&#8217;\u201d he added, as if magnanimous. \u201cBut it was fake, there\u2019s no question about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trump went from condemning journalism itself to his longstanding tradition of overt misogyny.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s a young, attractive woman. She never smiles. I said, \u2018Kaitlan, do you ever smile? Smile,\u201d he whined. \u201cYou have a nice position, you\u2019re at CNN fake news, you should be a happy person. Rather, it is the setup for what he believes is a bigoted insult.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut then I informed that it wasn\u2019t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney,\u201d Trump continued.<\/p>\n<p>It is clear that he invoked Mulvaney\u2019s name as an attempted insult.<\/p>\n<p>Mulvaney is a transgender influencer and once did a simple sponsorship for Bud Light in 2023. Comparing these women might not be an insult, but Trump clearly <em>intended <\/em>it as such.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"tiktok-embed\" cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@dylanmulvaney\/video\/7666977301979991310\" data-video-id=\"7666977301979991310\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;\">\n<section> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"@dylanmulvaney\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@dylanmulvaney?refer=embed\">@dylanmulvaney<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>A response \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8\u2764\ufe0f please support trans and non binary people today and every day <\/p>\n<p> <a target=\"_blank\" title=\"\u266c I Am America - Shea Diamond\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/I-Am-America-6817695501920503809?refer=embed\">\u266c I Am America \u2013 Shea Diamond<\/a> <\/section>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>At first, Mulvaney limited her response to simply sharing the same Eleanor Roosevelt quote that Kaitlan Collins herself had posted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo one can make you feel inferior without your consent,\u201d the quote reads.<\/p>\n<p>Mulvaney later posted a longer video to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@dylanmulvaney\/video\/7666977301979991310\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TikTok<\/a>, congratulating Collins on her win.<\/p>\n<p>She also contextualized why the Trump regime is targeting her, how she lives rent-free in the minds of the country\u2019s worst conservatives, simply for being herself. She also implored people to stand up for the trans community, who are under coordinated attack in multiple countries just for being themselves.<\/p>\n<p>It sounds like Mulvaney and Collins both have a very healthy perspective on this. There\u2019s nothing really healthy about Trump\u2019s state of mind.
