It was spurred by the U.K. government\u2019s announcement that it will help students in Gaza travel to and study in the U.K., but they must have fully-funded scholarships.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tCoughlan and her \u201cDerry Girls\u201d co-star Siobh\u00e1n McSweeney have donated a signed behind-the-scenes photo, while Essiedu is auctioning his own personal \u201cHarry Potter and the Philosopher\u2019s Stone\u201d book. \u201cI can\u2019t imagine almost all universities being destroyed and the immense talent in every discipline wasted: no opportunities and no choice at all,\u201d he said in a statement. \u201cWhat a beautiful thing if this book in some way can unlock the futures of these brilliant students, too.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tOther donated items include a signed Japan football shirt from Lineker; an \u201cI Swear\u201d production hoodie from Peake; the first poetry book Stevenson ever owned; a spot in Church\u2019s next wellness retreat; Walter\u2019s personal script from Donmar Warehouse\u2019s all-female production of \u201cJulius Caesar\u201d and a signed copy of her book; a necklace Redgrave wore in the play \u201cLong Day\u2019s Journey Into Night\u201d; and a vintage Christian Lacroix brooch from Suzman.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAccording to Phoenix Space, hundreds of students in Gaza have been offered places at U.K. universities but do not have the funding to attend.
