In his Instagram Stories, Wallen showed how his left ankle bent in a painful angle while still wearing his sneakers.<\/p>\n<p>The moment occurred as the singer, 33, hopped around while saying hi to fans before suddenly hitting the ground. He quickly got up, but he had to hobble away.<\/p>\n<p>Wallen then immediately sat down on the floor once he was out of fans\u2019 vision, clearly in pain while grabbing his ankle.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Morgan Wallen hurt his ankle while greeting fans at his show in Michigan Friday, showing footage of the incident on his Instagram Stories. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/morganwallen<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The country star twisted his ankle at a painful angle. <span class=\"credit\">Instagram\/morganwallen<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>He was able to get back up, but not without limping, noting that he \u201cpopped\u201d it.<\/p>\n<p>Walllen wrote on Saturday, \u201cMichigan, if I appear somewhat\u00a0hobbled tonight, it\u2019s cause I am.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the painful injury, he was still able to play his show that night at Michigan Stadium without any obvious issues.<\/p>\n<p>But that wasn\u2019t the only injury the former \u201cThe Voice\u201d contestant sustained during night one of his two tour stops in Michigan. A fan threw their cell phone at him while he was singing, which appeared to hit him in the leg in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@danamolnar24\/video\/7666986782671588622?q=morgan%20wallen%20fan%20phone&amp;t=1785111486135\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video captured<\/a> by another concert-goer. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Wallen (seen here in September 2024) also had a phone hit him in the leg that night, which a fan threw at him while he was performing. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images for The T.J. In the video captured by a concert-goer, the guard is first seen holding up both hands backwards as she records Wallen singing during his show at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Wallen dramatically flipped his piano and broke it during his show in Denver last month after it appeared to malfunction.
