And one\u2026was a story on the DNC that basically said it\u2019s dysfunctional. It\u2019s just difficult to do anything with it. And it\u2019s all true,\u201d Carville said.<\/p>\n<p>He continued:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>And at the end of the day, who cares? I mean, maybe they want to try to get themselves together, some of them are lovely people\u2026there\u2019s Ken Martin. Maybe they ought to figure out, maybe they could be somewhat relevant. I have no idea. If David Hogg wants to take it over, then, I ain\u2019t stoping you \u2014 go ahead, man, I don\u2019t really care. And I don\u2019t think at the end of the day, well, it might be fine people \u2014I know some of them are not particularly determined.<\/p>\n<p>And there was another story about how all these Republicans are doing all this research, and they\u2019re discovered that, well, people can\u2019t stand their ass. And, then, I think this was in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/2026\/07\/26\/republican-enthusiasm-problem-hits-even-core-voters\/\">the Post<\/a>, and they would send out people canvases and whatever kind of sh*t. And they were talking to people and they were coming back, and it was saying, like, the people, one in five, or the people of MAGA, have turned on us. And it was a, I think a pretty good story, best I could tell. It was well reported. That\u2019s a consequential story! No one \u2014 the DNC, like it, loathe it, don\u2019t care about it \u2014 take your own pick. It doesn\u2019t matter! The fact that they\u2019re now discovering that their own people are turning on \u2014 not just the people, like, \u201cOh sh*t, we were gone a long time ago\u201d \u2014 And so, as we go forward in this political year and we get to the end of it, we got to be careful to discern what\u2019s vapor and what\u2019s real. That, my friends, is one significant story.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cSo as you\u2019re accumulating your news over the weekend, have a little fun, read the DNC story about he threw, I don\u2019t know, a salt shaker \u2014 I don\u2019t know \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2026\/07\/26\/us\/politics\/ken-martin-dnc-democrats.html\">threw something at a desk<\/a>.
