(Photo by Jason Clark\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" data-start=\"647\" data-end=\"801\"><a href=\"https:\/\/heavy.com\/sports\/college-football\/alabama-crimson-tide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">Alabama\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0momentum on the recruiting trail continues to build, and the Crimson Tide may already be closing in on another elite prospect in the 2028 class.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"969\">Multiple recruiting insiders have now predicted Alabama to land four-star linebacker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/tysir-young-246498\/predictions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">Tysir Young<\/a>, one of the top defensive prospects in the 2028 recruiting cycle.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"971\" data-end=\"1277\">Richard O\u2019Leary of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/sites\/the-knight-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">The Knight Report<\/a> and Tim Watts of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/alabama-crimson-tide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">BamaOnLine<\/a> have each logged Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) picks in favor of Alabama, signaling growing confidence that Kalen DeBoer and his staff are in a strong position to secure Young\u2019s commitment.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1471\">While recruiting predictions are far from guarantees, seeing multiple respected analysts independently favor the same school is often an indication that momentum is shifting in that direction.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1320\"\/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"10env2t\" data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1533\">Alabama Continues to Make Defensive Recruiting a Priority<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1535\" data-end=\"1703\">Since arriving in Tuscaloosa, Kalen DeBoer and his coaching staff have made it clear that elite defensive talent remains a cornerstone of Alabama\u2019s recruiting strategy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1746\">Young appears to fit that mold perfectly.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1748\" data-end=\"2059\">The Delaware standout has already established himself as one of the nation\u2019s premier linebackers in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/rankings\/industry-player\/football\/2028\/?state=de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">2028 class<\/a> thanks to his combination of athleticism, physicality, and instincts. Despite still having multiple years remaining before signing day, he has attracted attention from programs across the country.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2061\" data-end=\"2206\">If Alabama ultimately lands his commitment, it would represent another significant recruiting victory in a cycle that is beginning to take shape.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1320\"\/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1xnqnc5\" data-start=\"2208\" data-end=\"2240\">Why Multiple RPM Picks Matter<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2242\" data-end=\"2387\">Recruiting Prediction Machine forecasts are not official commitments, but they often provide valuable insight into where recruitments are headed.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2389\" data-end=\"2663\">Having both Richard O\u2019Leary and Tim Watts submit RPM picks for Alabama gives the Crimson Tide early momentum in Young\u2019s recruitment. Watts, in particular, has built a strong reputation for accurately reading Alabama recruiting developments, making his prediction noteworthy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2665\" data-end=\"2907\">Of course, recruiting in the 2028 class is still in its early stages, and plenty can change before Young makes a final decision. Schools will continue to host visits, build relationships, and make their cases over the coming months and years.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2909\" data-end=\"2978\">Still, Alabama appears to have positioned itself as the team to beat.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1317\" data-end=\"1320\"\/>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1180g3v\" data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3038\">Alabama\u2019s Recruiting Momentum Shows No Signs of Slowing<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3040\" data-end=\"3183\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/alabama-crimson-tide-1867\/football\/2028\/commits\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">Crimson Tide<\/a> have continued stacking recruiting wins under DeBoer, particularly with blue-chip prospects on the defensive side of the ball.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3185\" data-end=\"3469\">Landing Young would not only strengthen Alabama\u2019s future linebacker room but would also reinforce the program\u2019s ability to recruit nationally.
