This is the same hotel where former President <strong>Ronald Reagan<\/strong> faced his own assassination attempt on March\u00a030, 1981.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the dinner \u2014 which marked the first time Trump has ever attended as president \u2014 a man breached the security checkpoint in the hotel lobby. Authorities identified the man as 31-year-old California resident <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/hollywoodunlocked.com\/tag\/cole-allen\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cole Allen<\/a><\/strong>. However, reports claimed she was running late and never made it before the shooting. She ended up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DXlI8Rlja4V\/?img_index=1&amp;hl=en-gb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">reacting<\/a> to the news, sharing a video of her inside a car. She captioned the post with an American flag emoji and prayer hands.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While officials eventually rescheduled the WHCD to last night (Friday, July 24), Minaj again did not attend. Despite her absence from both events, Trump claimed she was present during the first WHCD and joked about her doing something odd during the shooting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While taking the podium to roost Hollywood and the media, Trump joked, \u201cAfter hearing the gunshots, many people yelled, \u2018Get down!\u2019 which caused Nicki Minaj to start twerking. Can you believe it? She\u2019s the only one that really understood what that meant.\u201d The rapper ended up reacting to his comments and said she\u2019s going to give him a look when she sees him next. She shared an AI-image of Chucky doll with pink hair, instead of orange.
