I say that with tremendous respect. We spent a lot of time last year making \u2018Starfighter,\u2019 and the opportunity as Ryan started talking about this character, I was like, \u2018Bro let\u2019s ride.\u2019 We\u2019ll see you in 2028!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas Cage, 62, famously played motorcycle stuntman Johnny Blaze in 2007\u2019s \u201cGhost Rider\u201d before returning for 2011\u2019s \u201cGhost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gosling\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/03\/20\/celebrity-news\/ryan-gosling-makes-rare-bedroom-confession-about-private-eva-mendes-romance\/\">longtime partner, Eva Mendes<\/a>, 52, starred opposite Cage in the original movie as Roxanne Simpson but did not return for the sequel. href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/08\/14\/entertainment\/alien-romulus-review-franchises-best-sequel-in-years\/\">\u201cAlien: Romulus,\u201d<\/a> will play an adult version of T\u2019Challa\u2019s son and inherit the Black Panther mantle in \u201cBlack Panther 3.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Director Ryan Coogler revealed the sequel will hit theaters Dec. 15, 2028.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to this amazing family that I have the honor and privilege and the blessing to join,\u201d Jonsson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reels\/DbPSud0xLRT\/\">said from the stage<\/a>, drawing Wakanda chants from the crowd.<\/p>\n<p>The character was introduced in the closing moments of \u201cBlack Panther: Wakanda Forever,\u201d which revealed that the late Chadwick Boseman\u2019s T\u2019Challa had a young death, <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2020\/08\/28\/black-panther-star-chadwick-boseman-dead-of-cancer-at-43\/\">died in 2020 at age 43 after a private battle with colon cancer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Ryan Reynolds, 49, sparked fresh speculation about his Marvel future when he popped up in the Comic-Con crowd as the star-studded cast of \u201cAvengers: Doomsday\u201d was onstage, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@varietymagazine\/video\/7666663824526740750\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wearing Deadpool\u2019s gray suit<\/a> from the X-Force comics.<\/p>\n<p>Although Reynolds has not been announced for \u201cAvengers: Doomsday,\u201d he joked that his name was Ricky and that he was \u201ccosplaying hard,\u201d adding fuel to
