Where is Thor, and why was he crying?\u201d This referenced a moment in 2024\u2019s <em>Deadpool &amp; Wolverine<\/em>, during which Chris Hemsworth\u2019s Norse God of Thunder appears to hold a dying Deadpool in a scene set in the future. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tRudd quipped, \u201cHe\u2019s a Wrexham fan?\u201d in a dig at the soccer team that Reynolds and friend Rob Mac own. Reynolds fired back, \u201cYou know goddamn well why he was crying.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tReynolds\u2019 Deadpool continued, \u201cThis seems like an awfully expensive way to announce a film. When do you start filming?\u201d This spurred <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/robert-downey-jr\/\" id=\"auto-tag_robert-downey-jr_1\" data-tag=\"robert-downey-jr\">Robert Downey Jr.<\/a>, who <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/avengers-doomsday-trailer-robert-downey-jr-doctor-doom-mcu-1236611483\/\">stars as Doctor Doom<\/a> after initially playing Iron Man in the MCU, to reply, \u201cIt\u2019s in the can, bro. Look around you. So there\u2019s no additional photography, no overages, hot costs \u2014 maybe last minute additions?\u201d The star then said abruptly, \u201cNo further questions. Happy Hogan, fetch the Audi. We\u2019re leaving.\u201d Reynolds dropped the microphone and made his way out of Hall H. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tAlthough Reynolds has not been officially confirmed to appear in <em>Avengers: Doomsday<\/em>, media rumors have persisted about a possible role for Deadpool. The opinionated anti-hero was last seen on the big screen opposite Hugh Jackman in <em>Deadpool vs. Wolverine<\/em>, which surpassed $1.3 billion at the global box office. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tEarlier this month, Reynolds confirmed during an appearance at Fanatics Fest that <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/ryan-reynolds-confirms-another-deadpool-movie-1236652695\/\">a new <em>Deadpool<\/em> film<\/a> would indeed come to fruition at some point. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tOther highlights from this year\u2019s Marvel panel included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/ryan-gosling\/\" id=\"auto-tag_ryan-gosling_1\" data-tag=\"ryan-gosling\">Ryan Gosling<\/a> teasing his <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/ryan-gosling-ghost-rider-for-marvel-studios-1236656560\/\">starring role in a Ghost Rider movie<\/a> that Shawn Levy will direct.
