In the conversation, Burke apologized for \u201c<strong>putting her through this.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201c<strong>It\u2019s okay<\/strong>,\u201d Celeste responded. \u201c<strong>neither of us are capable of watching and taking care of the baby. it\u2019s for the best no?<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Burke then apologized again before questioning whether he was the father. Celeste replied, \u201c<strong>of course it\u2019s yours.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The messages were recovered from Burke\u2019s iCloud account and introduced during a preliminary hearing to determine whether he will stand trial for Celeste\u2019s k*lling. Prosecutors also presented conversations involving contraception, pregnancy and the nature of their alleged s*xual relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities claim Burke began s*xually ab*sing Celeste when she was 13 and he was 18. They allege he later k*lled her after she threatened to expose their history and damage his music career.<\/p>\n<p>Burke has pleaded not guilty to m*rder, s*xual ab*se of a child and mutilation of a body.
