attack against his military parents as horrified neighbors watched the boy\u2019s bloodied dad race around the neighborhood begging for help. <\/p>\n<p>Samantha Baker, 37, and her 46-year-old husband, Lance Baker, were found suffering from multiple stab wounds outside their Belforest community home in Baldwin County, Alabama, at around 9 p.m. Sunday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox10tv.com\/2026\/07\/06\/daphne-teen-charged-adult-after-accused-stabbing-parents-killing-mother\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to WALA.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The couple, who had met while serving in the US Army Reserve, had attempted to flee their son\u2019s deadly attack after the trio argued over the child being disciplined, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Samantha Baker was killed and her husband, Lance Baker, was left critically wounded in an his parents inside and outside of the home before barricading himself and calling police, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SheriffOfBaldwin\/posts\/pfbid027nBvixRKmfsTR8DMXN6DR3Eb6mKQ7yyKcN11kwjgi3WLkvQknMzjv3RZJqprYrpAl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baldwin County Sheriff\u2019s Office said.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Samantha Baker, a realtor, was pronounced dead as first responders flew her husband to a hospital in critical condition.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Lance Baker, a US Army Reserve Battalion Commander, escaped the home and ran door to door screaming for help, saying he \u201cdidn\u2019t want to die,\u201d traumatized neighbors said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was probably the hardest part \u2014 was pulling up my camera and listening to it and listening to the father yelling for help\u2026 please help me\u2026 I don\u2019t want to die,\u201d Shawn Scurry told the outlet. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd it just carried on down and it looks like he was trying to find an open Mobile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.al.com\/crime\/2026\/07\/video-shows-bloodied-alabama-father-running-for-his-life-as-teen-allegedly-stabs-parents.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Alabama.com reported.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The crime scene spanned roughly half a block in the private neighborhood 17 miles east of Mobile across the Mobile Bay. <\/p>\n<p>Officials described the attack as an isolated suspected parent killer, who was a rising high school senior, according to his parents\u2019 social media pages. <\/p>\n<p>He is being held in jail on a $1 million bond after his arraignment on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Friends remembered the slain mother for her bravery and caringness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was so brave, so caring, so joyful. I\u2019m going to miss her so very much,\u201d co-worker and friend April Shepherd wrote on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>The family\u2019s younger teen son was not at the home at the time of the attack, police said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is really sad. It\u2019s very sad for this family, having to deal with it,\u201d Baldwin County Sheriff Capt.
