On Thursday night at Fandom\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/comic-con\/\" id=\"auto-tag_comic-con\" data-tag=\"comic-con\">Comic-con<\/a> weekend kick off party in San Diego, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/iron-maiden\/\" id=\"auto-tag_iron-maiden\" data-tag=\"iron-maiden\">Iron Maiden<\/a> frontman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/bruce-dickinson\/\" id=\"auto-tag_bruce-dickinson\" data-tag=\"bruce-dickinson\">Bruce Dickinson<\/a> surprised fans and joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/t\/billie-joe-armstrong\/\" id=\"auto-tag_billie-joe-armstrong\" data-tag=\"billie-joe-armstrong\">Billie Joe Armstrong<\/a>\u2018s the Coverups onstage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-line-height-copy  lrv-a-font-body-l   \">\n\tThe rock icons dove into an impassioned cover of Mott the Hoople\u2019s\u00a0classic\u00a0\u201cAll the Young Dudes,\u201d with Armstrong playing his signature red Les Paul as he and Dickinson harmonized.
