{"id":15893,"date":"2026-07-24T17:00:04","date_gmt":"2026-07-24T12:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usnews-14267fa.ingress-comporellon.ewp.live\/?p=15893"},"modified":"2026-07-24T17:00:04","modified_gmt":"2026-07-24T12:00:04","slug":"odyssey-star-tom-holland-makes-hot-ones-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usnews-14267fa.ingress-comporellon.ewp.live\/?p=15893","title":{"rendered":"Odyssey Star Tom Holland Makes Hot Ones History"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script>\r\n  atOptions = {\r\n    'key' : '644b717812d811d6a1c1fc5b6ccd6fa6',\r\n    'format' : 'iframe',\r\n    'height' : 90,\r\n    'width' : 728,\r\n    'params' : {}\r\n  };\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script src=\"https:\/\/www.highperformanceformat.com\/644b717812d811d6a1c1fc5b6ccd6fa6\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-body\">\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Tom Holland and Jon Bernthal Team Up While Eating Spicy Wings | Hot Ones\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/mc9WVVAUQGE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Hollywood star <strong>Tom Holland<\/strong> made <em>Hot Ones<\/em> history in memorable and messy fashion Thursday after becoming the first celebrity to vomit on camera during an appearance on the hit YouTube interview series.<\/p>\n<p>The actor, who was promoting <strong>Christopher Nolan\u2019s<\/strong> newly released epic <em>The Odyssey<\/em> alongside co-star <strong>Jon Bernthal<\/strong>, who also co-stars with him in the upcoming <em>Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em>, struggled through the popular show\u2019s lineup of 10 hot chicken wings, each with progressively hotter sauces, eaten while answering interview questions from First We Feast host <strong>Sean Evans<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/tag\/tom-holland\/\">Holland<\/a>, however, reached his breaking point as the interview wrapped.<\/p>\n<p>As the ordeal ended, Holland and Bernthal posed with Evans for promotional shots after completing the challenge when Holland suddenly began coughing uncontrollably.<\/p>\n<p>Moments later, he bent over and vomited on the floor before immediately standing back up laughing.<\/p>\n<p>Bernthal quickly turned the moment into a celebration, clapping and shouting: \u201cLet\u2019s go! Let\u2019s go! Take a picture of it!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Holland then joked with the production crew that they could leave the footage in the final edit, adding that he was relieved none of it had landed on his shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Evans then informed Holland of his honor, he had become the first guest in the history of <em>Hot Ones<\/em> to vomit on camera.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI love being the first,\u201d Holland replied.<\/p>\n<p>The incident had already been teased earlier this month during a promo circuit interview with <em>The New York Times<\/em> for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ICYTZWCy4I8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">its <em>NYT\u2019s Cooking<\/em> show<\/a> when Holland recounted filming the episode alongside Bernthal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJon Bernthal and I did <em>Hot Ones<\/em> the other day. I fully vomited on camera,\u201d Holland said. \u201cFull-time. Like, I\u2019m standing there. We\u2019re laughing, having a good time and I [vomited].<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd it was also pure milk.
