The Fearsome White honors the historic Fearsome Foursome defensive line that terrorized opposing quarterbacks in the 1960s and early 1970s.<\/p>\n<p>The 1951-inspired uniform, whose anchor is the yellow jersey the team famously wore, features Rams Royal satin layered and stitched directly onto the Sol jersey. The Rams were the first professional team to call LA home, arriving in LA in 1946. The Dodgers landed in LA from Brooklyn in 1957.<\/p>\n<p>The Fearsome Whites feature a continuous Rams Royal shoulder stripe that mirrors the curve of the helmet horn and a return of numbers to the sleeves in a period-correct placement, while the pants feature layered Royal fabric with reflective detailing and Midnight trim.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Stafford models the Rams\u2019 Classic Sol uniform.  <span class=\"credit\">Brevin Townsell\/ LA Rams<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Fearsome White uniform also comes with a new alternate helmet that continues the current look but features white horns on a Royal shell. That is very similar to the helmets worn by the Rams during that era.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese uniforms are a celebration and reminder of the moments and people that built the Rams into what and who we are today,\u201d said Kathryn Kai-Iing Frederick, the Rams\u2019 chief marketing officer. \u201cEvery detail was intentionally designed to honor the grit and greatness of our history while delivering a modern look for today\u2019s players and fans. Grier, the oldest living Los Angeles Rams player, said in a statement that he appreciated the gesture.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo see the Los Angeles Rams uniforms that we wore 60 years ago on the playing field now, reminds me of the importance of being a team player. We selflessly prioritized the team\u2019s collective success over individual stats or personal glory,\u201d Grier said. \u201cAs strong teammates, we supported each other through the inevitable ups and downs of the NFL season.
