Both were approved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph-element\" class=\"rich-text mb-6 font-graphik text-body-large text-black-coffee mt-8 focus-visible:outline focus-visible:outline-black-coffee focus-visible:outline-2 focus-visible:outline-offset-2 focus-visible:shadow-focus-color text-left\">On BP-157, eight members of the committee voted yes, six voted no, and one abstained. The \u201cyes\u201d votes were largely from committee members who represent or advise telehealth companies, which broadly stand to benefit financially from the widespread adoption of peptides. Many of the people who voted \u201cyes\u201d said they wanted compounding pharmacies to dispense peptides because the alternative\u2014patients getting the drug in the gray market\u2014was worse.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p data-testid=\"paragraph-element\" class=\"rich-text mb-6 font-graphik text-body-large text-black-coffee mt-8 focus-visible:outline focus-visible:outline-black-coffee focus-visible:outline-2 focus-visible:outline-offset-2 focus-visible:shadow-focus-color text-left\">\u201cAs a physician, I have to make sure that I&#8217;m keeping patients as safe as possible. Do no harm,\u201d said Dr. Haleem Mohammed, chief medical officer of Gameday Men\u2019s Health, a telehealth firm, during the hearing. \u201cSo when I look at something like saying no to this and pushing it to the gray market, am I doing greater harm?
