I\u2019m not sure what their editorial issue is with.&#8221; Citing his voting history in the Senate, he called the experience &#8220;really strange.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, an MS NOW spokesperson told Mediaite on Wednesday, \u201cThis claim is inaccurate.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Just last week, despite emphasizing his allegiance to his party to the Examiner, Fetterman threatened to leave the Democratic Party over its decreasing support of Israel, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/fetterman-threatens-to-leave-democratic-party-over-israel-thats-my-red-line\/\">telling<\/a> Fox News, \u201cThat\u2019s my red line.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That wasn&#8217;t the only time the senator spoke similarly last week. At a summit hosted last Wednesday by <em>The Hill, <\/em>Fetterman <a href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/senate\/5970730-john-fetterman-democratic-party-israel\/\">clarified<\/a> that while he has \u201cno plans\u201d to leave the party, \u201cIf our party ever becomes \u2014 and just makes it official \u2014 the anti-Israel party, that\u2019s when I would leave because that\u2019s been a moral clarity for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And while speaking to CNN&#8217;s <strong>Manu Raju <\/strong>last Thursday, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2026\/07\/16\/politics\/fetterman-democratic-party-anti-israel\">mentioned<\/a> Michigan Senate hopeful <strong>Abdul El-Sayed<\/strong>, slamming him for his pro-Palestinian stance and for campaigning with popular socialist streamer <strong>Hasan Piker<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook at the kinds of people that we\u2019ve elected in the primaries, not just pro-Palestinian, just intensely, intensely anti-Israel,\u201d he told Raju.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they make [voting against Israel] the official platform of the party, then that\u2019s a much different situation,\u201d Fetterman explained when asked by the network what would cause him to leave the party.<\/p>\n<p>In Wednesday&#8217;s <em>Washington Examiner <\/em>piece, the senator mentioned his frequent appearances on Fox, CNN, and, &#8220;occasionally,&#8221; CBS and ABC, adding that he prefers networks that &#8220;play things straight.&#8221; The publication also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/senate\/4654513\/fox-news-favorite-democrat-fetterman-56-appearances\/#google_vignette\">reported<\/a> in a separate analysis that Fetterman has made 56 appearances on Fox News and 13 on CNN so far in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The post <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/ms-now-hits-back-at-fetterman-for-claiming-network-wont-invite-him-on\/\">MS NOW Hits Back at Fetterman for Claiming Network Won\u2019t Invite Him On<\/a> first appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\">Mediaite<\/a>.<\/p>\n<script async=\"async\" data-cfasync=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/pl30214220.effectivecpmnetwork.com\/9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<div id=\"container-9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\"><\/div>\r\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ben Curtis\/AP MS NOW rebutted Senator John Fetterman&#8217;s (D-PA) claim that the network won&#8217;t invite him on as a guest in a Wednesday statement to Mediaite.
