\u201cdecided to part ways\u201d after one year together. A source close to the couple confirmed the break up to <em><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/olandria-carthen-nic-vansteenberghe-break-up-source-exclusive-12023929\">People<\/a>.<\/em> <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Unlike the ongoing mess and mayhem for fellow former islanders, <a href=\"https:\/\/bossip.com\/4605155\/love-island-usa-jana-kenny-response-post-split\/\" type=\"post\" id=\"3665174\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez<\/a>, there\u2019s no juicy drama here. Ubiquitous It Girl Olandria and Nic were simply too booked and busy to make it work. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe distance between them and their busy schedules made it challenging to maintain their connection. They still remain close friends. They were each beloved by the other islanders and fans at home, but were eliminated as the last singles left standing after a recoupling ceremony. In one of the biggest plot twists of the blockbuster season, the departing duo had one last chance at staying in Fiji and maybe finding love if they coupled up. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nic claimed he was Olandria\u2019s \u201csecret admirer from day one,\u201d but they were only friends while locked in with other connections.
