It\u2019s coming out in the cinemas on the 10th day of the 23rd month, innit?\u201d Cohen says as Ali G in a video posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DbGoI4ZhuGv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Instagram<\/a>, before revealing the title spray-painted on a wall behind him. \u201cIt\u2019s only in movie theaters later this year, so check it out. Westside!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The caption adds, \u201cDey haz finally made a documentary about me. And it ain\u2019t like dat crap one about da penguins, dis one haz got at least twice as much animal sex. <em>Ali G: Who Iz I?<\/em> Cominatcha on 10.23 wotever dat means.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Per\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/film\/news\/sacha-baron-cohen-ali-g-movie-release-date-1236818332\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><em>Variety<\/em><\/a>, Cohen secretly filmed the movie in the same manner as 2006\u2019s\u00a0<em>Borat<\/em> and 2020\u2019s\u00a0<em>Borat Subsequent Moviefilm<\/em> to better catch people off guard. Some of the celebrities Cohen has interviewed as Ali G include Noam Chomsky, Newt Gingrich, Andy Rooney, Buzz Aldrin, David Beckham, and Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The Ali G character first surfaced on\u00a0<span style=\"margin: 0px;padding: 0px\">Britain\u2019s<em> The<\/em><\/span><em>\u00a011 O\u2019Clock Show<\/em> in 1998, with Cohen receiving his own <em>Da Ali G Show<\/em> in 2000.
