The Xinhua news agency said the storms destroyed homes, overturned cars and damaged farmland. More than 4,855 houses were damaged in Hubei, a car manufacturing hub.\n<\/p>\n<p>A man, 30, was sucked from his 12th-floor apartment along with his sofa and cabinets.
