No criminal charges have been filed, and the specific nature of the alleged abu$e hasn\u2019t been disclosed. Janell\u2019s attorney told the outlet, \u201cI believe the court did its job to protect the best interest of the child.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Through his attorney, Eric said he intends to protect his daughter\u2019s privacy and won\u2019t discuss the underlying allegations, noting only that they \u201carose in the context of a long running divorce and custody proceeding,\u201d which concluded on June 2. He added that he\u2019s complying fully with the order and hopes he and Janell can eventually resolve things privately rather than through the media.
