If so, you might be close to the only one: Even after the tournament\u2019s resolution, streams of the song have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/world-cup-final-streaming-gains-shakira-bts-madonna\/\">continued to spike<\/a> \u2014 no doubt buoyed by the duo\u2019s performance at the final\u2019s halftime show, the first ever of its kind.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIn fact, \u201cDai Dai\u201d enjoyed easily its biggest day yet on streaming this Monday (July 20), as fans either found themselves unready to say goodbye to the song that had soundtracked their past month and a half, or came to it for the first time after tuning into the final. The song racked up nearly 2.2 million official on-demand U.S. streams on Monday, up 65% from the 1.4 million it amassed the day before the final, and up 84% from the 1.2 million streams it amassed the day after Shakira and Burna Boy first played it at the Cup\u2019s opening ceremonies in June, according to Luminate.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tIt wasn\u2019t the only song performed at the halftime show to see big gains the day after the performance:\u00a0Justin Bieber\u2019s \u201cEverything Hallelujah\u201d was also up 161% to 268,000 streams from the day before the Cup, and BTS\u2019 \u201cDynamite\u201d was up 74% to 312,000. But the big musical winner of the tournament \u2014 possibly outside of Oasis\u2019 \u201cWonderwall,\u201d which rode streaming momentum from its adoption as the English team\u2019s unofficial theme song to a No. 27 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/oasis-wonderwall-returns-hot-100-world-cup-1236299773\/\">Billboard Hot 100 re-entry<\/a> \u2014 was undoubtedly its official theme, which has also since moved into the top 20 on both Spotify\u2019s and Apple Music\u2019s real-time charts.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAnd on the subject of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/hot-100\">Hot 100<\/a> \u2014 \u201cDai Dai\u201d reached a new peak of No. 42 on this week\u2019s chart (dated July 18), still falling just outside of the top 40. Some users gravitated to Santana (a gay man) referring to himself as a \u201clittle girl,\u201d others preferred to pretend there was a deeper meaning behind the \u201cquiet on the creek\u201d phrase, and another swath of users found humor in his delivery of the phrase, while also evolving its meaning to something akin to \u201ckeep it lowkey.\u201d Thus, it\u2019s no surprise the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/music\/Quiet-on-the-Creek-7662457740929157137?is_from_webapp=1&amp;sender_device=pc\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">official \u201cQuiet on the Creek\u201d sound<\/a> currently plays in over 1.5 million TikToks, just 10 days after he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@saucysantana\/video\/7661820930376666399?_r=1&amp;_t=ZT-98FdwqY8VsU\" rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">first teased<\/a> the song.
