podcast, Oliver became emotional as she recounted the story to her co-host, <a aria-label=\"\" class=\"TextLink_text-link__dBSS0 TextLink_enabled__dJF3l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/3am\/celebrity-news\/jordan-stephens-jade-thirlwall-split-37461595\" rel=\"follow\" tabindex=\"0\" target=\"_self\">Jordan Stephens<\/a> as she said: \u201cI would like to tell the story of me and Fearne Cotton. So basically, when I was 20, I did something really awful that I was really ashamed of for a long time. She said, \u2018Hey Miquita, I just watched a clip of you talking about how the press used to refer to you and it resonated deeply\u2019. I just wanted to say thank you for opening up about it. Sending love\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Tearing up, Miquita added: \u201cI didn\u2019t mean to be awful to her. I was unkind and it wasn\u2019t me. That message was really healing for me. I sent her so much love back and I knew she\u2019d just been through a divorce and was on this new journey. I said, \u2018I wish you so much f****** luck on your new chapter.\u2019 It was all love. So actually, me and Fearne Cotton are fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">A clip of the podcast was shared on Instagram and Cotton commented: \u201cBeyond grateful for how we\u2019ve reconnected. <!-- -->\u201cMakes me very happy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">Miquita&#8217;s mother chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver, who has appeared on programmes like This Morning and Great British Menu, was amongst the first to send her support.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph_paragraph-text__PVKlh\" data-tmdatatrack=\"content-unit\" data-tmdatatrack-type=\"paragraph\">She said: \u201cI am so proud of you and your honesty.\u201d Miquita rose to fame while presenting Channel 4\u2019s Popworld with Simon Amstell from 2001 to 2006, and then spent the next four years fronting T4.
