{"id":13927,"date":"2026-07-22T21:38:04","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T16:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/usnews-14267fa.ingress-comporellon.ewp.live\/?p=13927"},"modified":"2026-07-22T21:38:04","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T16:38:04","slug":"bill-oreilly-goes-ballistic-on-cuomo-in-immigration-debate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/usnews-14267fa.ingress-comporellon.ewp.live\/?p=13927","title":{"rendered":"Bill O&#8217;Reilly Goes Ballistic on Cuomo in Immigration Debate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><script>\r\n  atOptions = {\r\n    'key' : '644b717812d811d6a1c1fc5b6ccd6fa6',\r\n    'format' : 'iframe',\r\n    'height' : 90,\r\n    'width' : 728,\r\n    'params' : {}\r\n  };\r\n<\/script>\r\n<script src=\"https:\/\/www.highperformanceformat.com\/644b717812d811d6a1c1fc5b6ccd6fa6\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"post-body\">\n<p>NewsNation\u2019s <strong>Chris Cuomo<\/strong> and <strong>Bill O\u2019Reilly<\/strong> threw down in a heated debate on Tuesday night about \u201chunting down\u201d criminal illegal migrants.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Reilly joined Cuomo for a fiery conversation in which the two couldn\u2019t agree on the administration\u2019s immigration figures or the messaging around Border <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/tom-homan-warns-on-fox-dems-need-to-shut-their-mouth-about-ice-or-there-will-be-more-bloodshed\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Czar<\/a> <strong>Tom Homan\u2019s<\/strong> no-exceptions approach to mass deportations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you have more than a million criminal aliens coming into the United States in four years, more than a million, you are going to have chaos. You\u2019re going to have violence. You\u2019re going to have things that happen that shouldn\u2019t happen,\u201d O\u2019Reilly said.<\/p>\n<p>Cuomo argued officials throw out a lot of numbers in regard to immigration and suggested they are \u201ccooked\u201d for political purposes.<\/p>\n<p>He argued officials should be focused on illegal migrants guilty of violent crimes, rather than simply being in the country illegally, which he compared to doing \u201c80 in a 55.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know how you arrive at a million fentanyl dealers, human traffickers and gang bangers\u2026 I don\u2019t know where that number comes from. You might as well say 100 million,\u201d Cuomo said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe number comes from the federal government. You can look it up as they, as <strong>Yogi Berra<\/strong> would say. But it\u2019s an estimate, okay? More than a million people are being hunted by executive order of the president of the United States, that I believe, to get them deported because they committed crimes. Now, you don\u2019t like that,\u201d O\u2019Reilly told Cuomo.<\/p>\n<p>He accused Cuomo of not being \u201cbullish on hunting down criminal illegal aliens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s not true,\u201d Cuomo responded, adding, \u201cI don\u2019t like the idea of hunting down misdemeanors, okay? You wanna hunt down a killer, go hunt them down. But that\u2019s not who they\u2019re getting, Bill. Their own numbers, which are obviously cooked, show that it\u2019s barely 50-50.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe official number from Homeland Security is more than one million criminals. Now that means they could have committed crimes in Venezuela, okay?\u201d O\u2019Reilly said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCould mean a lot of things,\u201d Cuomo countered.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Reilly eventually pushed Cuomo to \u201cadmit\u201d he doesn\u2019t want criminal illegal migrants \u201chunted\u201d down, while Cuomo argued it\u2019s the \u201cmessaging\u201d he has a problem with.<\/p>\n<p>Check out the exchange below:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>BILL O\u2019REILLY: You do not want to hunt them down. You don\u2019t want to do it!<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: Bill, it\u2019s not true. You can keep insisting, Bill. You can say it a few more times, like your friend Mr. <strong>[Donald] Trump<\/strong>. Doesn\u2019t make it true. Repetition is not veracity.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019REILLY: I\u2019ll find 10 quotes.<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: Go ahead. Find me a quote of me saying \u2014<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019REILLY: Alright, there\u2019s one more point I want to make about \u2014<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: No, no, no. I want some money on this one. What do you want to bet you cannot find me saying \u2014 I\u2019ll say the same thing you said, which is\u2026remember what you said, Bill O\u2019Reilly? Because I can pull it for you in about eight seconds. It\u2019ll never happen, logistically, legally, financially, you\u2019ll never be able to get them all out. Remember saying that, Bill? Because you did.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019REILLY: It\u2019s all different things.<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: Oh. We\u2019re talking about hunting. So when I say it\u2019s impractical, and that talking about hunting them is not the best messaging when you keep killing people, you don\u2019t like that. But when you said it\u2019ll never happen, that\u2019s a fact. Come on, Bill.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019Reilly: You just admitted my whole thesis was true.<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: What is?<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019REILLY: You don\u2019t want them hunted.<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: That\u2019s not true. I don\u2019t like the messaging.<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019REILLY: You don\u2019t want criminal aliens hunted.<\/p>\n<p>CUOMO: You shouldn\u2019t hunt human beings, okay?<\/p>\n<p>O\u2019REILLY: Okay!
