Still, he was able to perform at the \u201cBack to the Beginning\u201d concert, including <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2025\/07\/ozzy-osbourne-final-solo-performance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a solo set<\/a> and a set with <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2025\/07\/black-sabbath-play-final-show-back-to-the-beginning-concert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the original lineup of Black Sabbath<\/a>, just 17 days before his passing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/store.consequence.net\/collections\/vinyl-records\/?sort_by=title-ascending&amp;filter.p.tag=Black+Sabbath\" class=\"button button-ticket\" target=\"_blank\">Get Black Sabbath Albums on Vinyl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Drummer <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/bill-ward\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bill Ward<\/a> wrote via X\/Twitter, \u201cEvery day, there is persistent silence. We miss you so much. Respectfully, with love to the Osbourne Family, Bill and Jackie Ward Family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Related Video<\/p>\n<p>Bassist <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/geezer-butler\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Geezer Butler<\/a> took to Instagram to say, \u201cOne year ago today- hard to believe. I am so glad we were able to do the final show, back in our hometown, just a couple of weeks before Ozzy left us. Gone in body, but his legend lives on. Such incredible memories. Ozzy forever!<\/p>\n<p>And guitarist <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/artist\/tony-iommi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tony Iommi<\/a> delivered his own message via Instagram:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">\u201cHi everyone. Well, it\u2019s now a year since Ozzy\u2019s passing and I still can\u2019t believe that he\u2019s not with us. I watch him on YouTube and it feels like he\u2019s still here with us.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">We always stayed in touch, almost every week or so and we\u2019d usually talk about our ailments and then about what we\u2019d been doing that particular week.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">The fans have been absolutely brilliant and the love and respect that they have shown for him has just been amazing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">I\u2019m so glad that we were able to play one final show with the original line up of Sabbath at the \u2018Back To The Beginning\u2019 show in our home town of Birmingham!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">There will never be another Ozzy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">I miss you my dear friend.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px\">Tony\u201d<\/p>\n<p>These statements in memoriam follow <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2025\/07\/black-sabbath-tony-iommi-ozzy-tribute\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">similar sentiments from the three Black Sabbath members<\/a> shortly after Ozzy\u2019s passing last year.
