He was 71.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, the Santa Monica Police Department said Micah, 31, was \u201cfound inside the residence and taken into custody without incident.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><figcaption>His son Micah (seen above in court) was arrested and charged with murder. <span class=\"credit\">Frederick M. Brown for New York Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The police also said they \u201csecured the scene, and subsequently obtained a search warrant\u201d and recovered the weapon at the home.<\/p>\n<p>Micah was charged with murder in his father\u2019s tragic death.<\/p>\n<p>The baritone singer\u2019s son reportedly had mental health issues over the years \u2014 including being diagnosed with schizophrenia.<\/p>\n<p>In 2017, a woman filed a restraining order against Micah, claiming he showed \u201csigns of mental instability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis behavior is unpredictable. His next arraignment is scheduled for August.<\/p>\n<p>Jubilant was married to his childhood love, Cecelia, for 37 years.
