We were trying to have our little one play soccer, and the association asked us to stop because there were 20 cars coming. So it wasn\u2019t just about us. It was just an industry that had gotten out of control.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tShe added, \u201cIf you show up and you\u2019re trying to get into the pediatrician and you have a sick kid on your shoulder and you\u2019re scared and you can\u2019t get into the door because you\u2019re blocked by photographers, there\u2019s something wrong with that, and the kids are paying the price.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tGarner also recalled a time when she saw kids \u201cgetting knocked over coming out of preschool by photographers who were so hungry to get at me or Ben [Affleck].\u201d She went on to explain that, despite living in a community with many celebrities, the paparazzi would target her because she \u201chad the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tWhen asked by host Evan Katz if things ever got better, Garner said she still has two photographers who have been assigned to follow her for \u201c20 plus years.\u201d She says in that time, they\u2019ve developed an \u201codd respect for each other.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cLike, there\u2019s kind of a Stockholm syndrome thing,\u201d Garner said. \u201cAnd at the same time, I\u2019ve called the cops on him a million times and been like, \u2018Can you please just give me a walk around the block with my kids and my dog?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<script async=\"async\" data-cfasync=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/pl30214220.effectivecpmnetwork.com\/9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<div id=\"container-9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\"><\/div>\r\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jennifer Garner recently told the \u201cShut Up Evan\u201d podcast that paparazzi would go to dangerous lengths to get photos of her and her children. \u201cIf I went through a yellow light, 15 cars would go through the red behind me,\u201d Garner said. \u201cThey would drive up onto people\u2019s lawns, even on a hillside.
