A <em>La La Land<\/em> musical is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/lifestyle\/arts\/la-la-land-broadway-musical-1235319367\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/lifestyle\/arts\/la-la-land-broadway-musical-1235319367\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">currently in development for Broadway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe original poster for the 2016 film features <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/emma-stone\/\" id=\"auto-tag_emma-stone_1\" data-tag=\"emma-stone\">Emma Stone<\/a> and Gosling dancing against the Los Angeles skyline. Both actors have one arm raised, but while Stone\u2019s hand is extended up, Gosling tilted his hand flat \u2014 a choice he has since joked he regretted.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tSpeaking to <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em> in 2024, the <em>Barbie<\/em> star reflected on why the pose still \u201chaunts\u201d him.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cMaybe <em>La La Land<\/em>,\u201d he said when asked if there was a role he\u2019d like to do over. \u201cThere\u2019s a moment that haunts me where we\u2019re dancing, Emma and I, and I didn\u2019t know this would become the poster for the movie, but I thought we were supposed to have our hands up and I thought it\u2019d be cool to put my hand [flat].\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cEven though everyone told me it wasn\u2019t cool, I was sure it was cooler,\u201d he continued. \u201cNow when I look at it, and I have to see it all the time, you know what would\u2019ve been cooler\u2026 [the correct pose]. It just killed the energy that way.
