At this event, we&#8217;ll more than likely see at least six new devices from Samsung. It might be loading or has been removed.<br \/>\n    <\/a>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The real headliner of each summer Unpacked, at least in recent years, has been Samsung&#8217;s lineup of foldable phones. For several years, Samsung has launched a new Z Flip and Z Fold phone each summer. In 2026, all reports indicate a third phone is being added to the list. The three Samsung foldables we expect to see at Unpacked are:<\/p>\n<p>This is where things get a little confusing. You&#8217;d <em>think<\/em> the Z Fold 8 Ultra would be the new addition to the lineup, but recent reports indicate that the <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-8-everything-we-know\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">Z Fold 8<\/a> is actually a new device this year. <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-8-leak\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">Rumors<\/a> for months have pointed to Samsung releasing a <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-8-wide-rumors\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">wider foldable<\/a> this year, and it sounds like that phone will take the Z Fold 8 name, while a true successor to the <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/review\/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-7-review\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">Z Fold 7<\/a> will be called Z Fold 8 Ultra. <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the new Z Fold 8 will potentially have a 5.4-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch inner display when unfolded. These dimensions are pretty similar to the rumored design of the still-unannounced <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/iphone-fold-ultra-specifications-rumors-leaks\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">foldable iPhone<\/a>, suggesting Samsung wants to introduce this third foldable as a direct competitor to Apple&#8217;s device. <\/p>\n<section x-data=\"window.newsletter({ isDeal: false })\" x-init=\"init()\" aria-label=\"Newsletter Sign-Up\" class=\"relative invisible my-12 mx-auto w-full max-w-3xl md:my-16 ziff-component accent-cut-for-gradient-bg accent-cut-border-for-gradient-bg bg-gradient-fuchsia-secondary p-[2px]\">\n<p>\n            <span class=\"text-gradient-fuchsia-secondary\">Mashable Light Speed<\/span>\n        <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<p>Aside from that, we expect the Z Fold 8 Ultra to be fairly similar in design to the Z Fold 7, with a new Snapdragon chip and a stronger 200MP main camera on the back. Samsung is also said to have done some work to make the crease on the folding display less visible this year. The Z Flip 8, by all accounts, will follow a similar path: roughly the same design as the Z Flip 7, but with a better processor and a less visible crease.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, and thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/ramageddon-every-tech-price-increase-2026\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">RAMageddon<\/a>, do not be surprised to see year-over-year price increases for all of these devices.<\/p>\n<h2>New Galaxy Watches on the way<\/h2>\n<p>Samsung usually uses this summer event to showcase its latest smartwatch advancements, and 2026 looks no different. This year, we expect to see two new Samsung watches:<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s generally accepted that both of these phones will see fairly incremental changes from before. There will surely be new health-tracking features, and some small design changes, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/samsung-galaxy-watch-ultra-2-leak-classic-bezel\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">Galaxy Watch Ultra 2<\/a> in particular said to incorporate classic numbers on the watch face, a thinner bezel, and better side buttons. Most importantly, for some, it sounds like Samsung is skipping out on a new Galaxy Watch Classic this year. You&#8217;ll get a base model and a premium model, and that&#8217;s it, as far as anyone can tell.<\/p>\n<h2>Galaxy Glasses tipped for their big debut<\/h2>\n<p>Lastly, Samsung&#8217;s long-awaited smart glasses should make their debut at Unpacked in July. Most likely called <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/article\/samsung-galaxy-glasses-jinju-leak\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">Galaxy Glasses<\/a>, we expect these specs to work similarly to the ones Meta has been releasing for a few years now.
