She was 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Alongside a video of Jonathan explaining the tragic circumstances in American Sign Language, he added in his video\u2019s caption, \u201cI am taking a flight I never would like to take.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In ASL, Jonathan explained that his daughter was killed after getting in a car crash in Maryland in the early hours of July 21. Authorities contacted Jonathan shortly after to confirm Kaylee\u2019s heart had stopped en route to the hospital from the crash site.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Jonathan explained he was at the airport, about to fly from Texas to claim his daughter\u2019s body.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Under his post, several of their family\u2019s loved ones shared their condolences and emphasized the impact Kaylee had made in her life and career.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKaylee was beyond her years,\u201d one person wrote under Jonathan\u2019s post, \u201cand has a heart for everyone.
