The books are some of the bestselling in the genre of all time, but the franchise remains relatively underutilized over the last decade or so, in terms of adaptations to other mediums.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><\/p>\n<p>The most notable of those is almost certainly <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/wheel-of-time-war-of-the-dragon-next-release\/\" target=\"_blank\">the Prime Video television release<\/a>, which ran for three seasons before being pretty unceremoniously canceled by the streaming giant. The game promises to be one of the most interactive ways to experience the original story that we have ever had, with this particular release starting part way through the narrative.<\/p>\n<p>In sharing what exactly fans can expect from the new game, the developer shared the following on their official <a href=\"https:\/\/news.direwolfdigital.com\/war-of-the-dragon-the-wheel-of-time-telling-your-tale\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;<em>The Wheel of Time<\/em> is a massive, epic tale. With fourteen books\u2019 (and more!) worth of adventure, it\u2019s packed with favorite characters, memorable events, and heroic moments. This makes it a treasure trove for story-based game pieces \u2014 so much so that War of the Dragon needed multiple ways to show them off!<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>War of the Dragon<\/em> starts with the adventure already underway, in a pastiche of Book 4, The Shadow Rising. The Stone of Tear has fallen, while the heroes look toward the Aiel Waste, the Two Rivers, and Tanchico for their next missions. This sets the table for the global conflict that the game represents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The fundraising campaign has now concluded, but that does mean that the project is now really ready to move into full production.
