That\u2019s a long-lived tradition. He couldn\u2019t be more cordial. He is usually upfront about how he is feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Marvel boss didn\u2019t reveal which roles he\u2019s pitched to Driver; however, rumors have been circulating on social media about the actor potentially boarding the big-screen <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/marvel-x-men-movie-writer-michael-lesslie-1235905691\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/marvel-x-men-movie-writer-michael-lesslie-1235905691\/\">reboot of the X-Men<\/a> that\u2019s currently in development. Marvel has yet to confirm any casting for the film, but <em>The Hollywood Reporter<\/em> reported last year that Jake Schreier was <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/x-men-movie-eyes-thunderbolts-filmmaker-jake-schreier-1236211453\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-news\/x-men-movie-eyes-thunderbolts-filmmaker-jake-schreier-1236211453\/\">in talks to direct<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThough Driver has never shared why he keeps turning down opportunities to join the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/mcu\/\" id=\"auto-tag_mcu_1\" data-tag=\"mcu\">MCU<\/a>, it likely wouldn\u2019t be because they\u2019re blockbuster films, as he\u2019s had his fair share in those. Most notably, he played Kylo Ren in the <em>Star Wars<\/em> sequel trilogy, including <em>The Force Awakens<\/em> (2015), <em>The Last Jedi<\/em> (2017) and <em>The Rise of Skywalker<\/em> (2019).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tIn addition to other high-profile pics such as <em>House of Gucci<\/em> (2021), <em>Ferrari<\/em> (2023) and <em>Megalopolis<\/em> (2024), Driver likes to have a nice balance when it comes to his filmography, starring in plenty of indie films as well, including <em>Inside Llewyn Davis<\/em> (2013), <em>Paterson<\/em> (2016), <em>Marriage Story<\/em> (2019) and the upcoming <em>Paper Tiger<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThough Driver has no plans as of now to join the MCU, no matter how hard Feige tries, the actor is interested in stepping back into <a data-id=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-features\/star-wars-lucasfilm-kathkleen-kennedy-1236476418\/\" data-type=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/movies\/movie-features\/star-wars-lucasfilm-kathkleen-kennedy-1236476418\/\">another blockbuster franchise: <em>Star Wars<\/em><\/a>.
