Discovery while she considers an <a href=\"https:\/\/consequence.net\/2026\/07\/states-file-antitrust-lawsuit-in-paramount-warner-deal\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">antitrust lawsuit<\/a> brought by a coalition of 12 states (via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/business\/media\/judge-puts-temporary-pause-paramount-warner-bros-merger-rcna587804\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">NBC News<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>U.S. District Judge Araceli Mart\u00ednez-Olgu\u00edn of the Northern District of California said the order would remain in effect for 14 days. She will hear the states\u2019 request for a preliminary injunction at an August 3rd hearing.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit, filed by the attorneys general of 12 states, alleges that Paramount and Warner Bros.
