The White \u2060House did not immediately reply to a request for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Earlier this year, the U.S. federal judiciary withdrew a chapter from the newest edition of \u200bits \u200breference manual on scientific evidence that \u200baddressed climate change after Republican \u200cstate attorneys general argued it was biased against fossil fuel companies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Federal Judicial Center, the judiciary&#8217;s research arm, incorporated a chapter addressing climate change as part of a long-planned update of the manual, the fourth edition of which was released in December.
