She kicked off the episode, which is titled <em>Why We Almost Walked Away From Coffee Convos<\/em>, on a serious note:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cNothing\u2019s funny about what\u2019s been going on in my life at all \u2026 I have been completely off of all social media platforms, I\u2019m not reading comments [and the apps] are not downloaded on my phone. If people are sending me messages, I\u2019m not getting them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She went on:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWhile I want to acknowledge the fact that we have truly built a community that I value so much, it has been so good for me to step away from the noise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That\u2019s definitely very reasonable!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/more-harrowing-details-eminem-ex-wife-kim-scott-shocking-suicide-attempt\/\"><strong>Related: Eminem\u2019s Ex-Wife Kim Scott\u2019s Shocking Suicide Attempt \u2014 More Harrowing Details Emerge<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As we\u2019ve been following, <strong>Todd Chrisley<\/strong>\u2019s estranged daughter was arrested by the <strong>Cherokee County Sheriff\u2019s Office<\/strong> in Georgia in May <a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/lindsey-chrisley-arrested-suspicion-of-dui-her-response\/\">on suspicion of <em>DUI less safe<\/em><\/a>, <em>attempting to elude police<\/em>, <em>improper passing<\/em>, <em>reckless driving<\/em>, and <em>speeding<\/em>. She was booked into the <strong>Cherokee County Jail<\/strong>, but bailed out by 4:15 a.m. the same night she was arrested. The 36-year-old explained to <em>TMZ<\/em> at the time:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI got pulled over speeding past a car on a two lane road because they almost hit an animal and I was trying to miss hitting them and whatever the animal was.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She also revealed she planned to \u201cfight the charge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere in the podcast episode, Lindsie discussed her mental health while addressing how open she\u2019s been about her life with podcast fans:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI want people to understand that this is a form of entertainment for them, and we genuinely do love doing our job, it is a job and it is a career. When you share so openly things about your personal life in your job, it can cause a lot of problems.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She went on:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI do think the emotional state that I\u2019ve been in over the last year, some of that has been from investing in what listeners are saying or investing in what the <strong>Reddit<\/strong> folks are saying online and the conspiracy theories and all the things.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Why We Almost Walked Away From Coffee Convos\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rOaZVCBzsUA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Just weeks before Lindsie\u2019s DUI arrest, her boyfriend <strong>David Landsman<\/strong> was arrested for <a href=\"https:\/\/perezhilton.com\/lindsie-chrisley-boyfriend-david-landsman-arrested-alleged-strangulation-georgia\/\"><em>aggravated assault-strangulation<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Lindsie, who asked for \u201cgrace\u201d as she navigates the recent developments in her life, carried on the conversation on her own <em>Southern Tea<\/em> podcast the same day:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cMy arrest \u2026 is an ongoing legal matter. What I can say on it right now is that I\u2019ve taken this very seriously. I have to focus on, at this point, moving forward, growing and letting the legal process run its course and respecting that process.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She noted her social media hiatus allowed her to \u201cstep back and reflect.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI do think that this was, kind of, a hard-stop moment for me to be like, \u2018OK everything needs to get in line and s**t needs to be gotten in order because you cannot continue going down the path of operating off of heartbreak and betrayal and lack of confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She added:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cLike, you cannot continue carrying that every single day because I\u2019m just going to sit in it. I think I\u2019ve sat in it long enough.
