Student plans now cost $6.99, up from $5.99. And if you want to get a Family plan, that&#8217;ll be $19.99, up from $16.99. <\/p>\n<p>Europeans get the exact same numbers, only in euros: Individual plans are now \u20ac11.99, Student plans are \u20ac6.99, and a Family plan is \u20ac19.99. While the basic plan still has the same price, the Family plan now costs $27.95 (up from $25.95), while the Premier plan costs $39.95 (up from $37.95). <\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s more bad news for consumers, although it&#8217;s scattered throughout different markets. As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2026\/07\/17\/apple-raises-iphone-prices-in-japan\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\" title=\"(opens in a new window)\">MacRumors noticed<\/a>, iPhone prices have gone up roughly 8-10 percent in Japan, and <a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/en-us\/108047\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\" title=\"(opens in a new window)\">iCloud+ prices<\/a> have gone up quite a bit (from 11 to 55 percent) in 8 countries:  Nigeria, Turkey, Vietnam, Japan, Egypt, New Zealand, the Philippines, and Indonesia. <\/p>\n<p>The news comes about a month after <a href=\"https:\/\/mashable.com\/tech\/apple-price-increases-full-list\" target=\"_blank\" data-ga-click=\"1\" data-ga-label=\"$text\" data-ga-item=\"text-link\" data-ga-module=\"content_body\">Apple increased the prices<\/a> of numerous products in its lineup, mostly due to the memory chip supply crunch. <\/p>\n<section class=\"mx-auto max-w-7xl\">\n<\/section><\/div>\n<script async=\"async\" data-cfasync=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/pl30214220.effectivecpmnetwork.com\/9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<div id=\"container-9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\"><\/div>\r\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apple has increased the subscription price of Apple Music in the U.S., but that&#8217;s not where the price hikes end.
