There\u2019s a park by that name in the community of Fawnskin adjacent to Big Bear Lake. County Department of Parks and Recreation)<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/figure><\/div>\n<p>The nonprofit said there had been no sign around the nest \u201cfor several days\u201d of <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/travel\/story\/2020-01-21\/big-bear-lake-bald-eagles-two-eggs-nest-webcam\">Jackie, star of the webcam reality show<\/a> since 2015. Fans have watched as Jackie and her longtime mate, Shadow, have tragically <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2024-03-12\/big-bear-bald-eagles-three-eggs-likely-wont-hatch-makes-my-heart-hurt\">lost eggs<\/a> and offspring, and also successfully raised eaglets to leave the nest, 120 feet up a Jeffrey pine with a commanding view of Big Bear Lake.<\/p>\n<p>Their latest <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2026-06-28\/big-bear-eaglet-sandy-takes-first-flight-after-accidental-fludge\">eaglets, Sandy and Luna, took flight<\/a> for the first time late last month.<\/p>\n<p>The grounded bald eagle was picked up Saturday by personnel with the L.A. County Parks and Recreation San Dimas Raptor Rescue. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen a bald eagle was found in need near Big Bear Lake, an incredible team came together to make sure it received the care it deserved,\u201d the agency said <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/reel\/1332718045200493\/\" target=\"_blank\">on Facebook<\/a>. And fans were advised not to contact the rescue agency: \u201cThey do not have the resources.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a very worrying wait this weekend with Jackie MIA,\u201d said one commenter on the nonprofit\u2019s Instagram <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Da_Z8lmAd9M\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\">account<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One user, on the Parks and Recreation Department <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/parks.lacounty.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">post<\/a> noted: \u201cThat\u2019s her, no doubt.
