Bieber then came out beside the two actors, holding his acoustic guitar. \u201cAlright, young man, it\u2019s your big shot. Now listen to me. Go out there, don\u2019t be nervous. Nobody\u2019s watching. Make us proud.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tBieber then took to the pitch to perform his <em>Swag II <\/em>track \u201cEverything Hallelujah,\u201d going out alone in a more lowkey moment in what was otherwise a much more grandiose affair.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Lasso cameo was one of several surprises in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/music\/film-tv-music-news\/world-cup-halftime-show-fifa-producer-interview-1236650906\/\">jam-packed 11-minute <\/a>hodgepodge. Madonna, in the midst of her <em>Confessions II<\/em> era, started the show with a pre-recorded segment where she rode in a dune buggy driven by Brazilian soccer players Ronaldo and Ronaldinho. The muppets played \u201cSeven Nation Army\u201d with a Gustavo Dudamel-conducted orchestra. K-pop superstars BTS, fresh off a Paris stadium show the night prior, came out to perform their 2020 global smash \u201cDynamite.\u201d Coldplay and the muppets joined the PS22 choir, a children\u2019s chorus out of Staten Island.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe standout of the show, though, came from Shakira and Burna Boy, who brought a particularly lively performance of \u201cDai Dai,\u201d the tournament\u2019s official song. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe Lasso cameo comes just a few weeks before the Apple TV series is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/tv\/tv-news\/ted-lasso-season-4-premiere-date-1236578718\/\">set to return <\/a>for season four on Aug. 5.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<script async=\"async\" data-cfasync=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/pl30214220.effectivecpmnetwork.com\/9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\/invoke.js\"><\/script>\r\n<div id=\"container-9ab3d4df8a7e1a6171e16ddbf732cc19\"><\/div>\r\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ted Lasso made his way to the FIFA World Cup.
