In <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/marvels-spider-man-3-story-length-fan-speculation\/\" target=\"_blank\">Insomniac\u2019s first <em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em> game<\/a>, specifically, Peter\u2019s character was developed with such immense care regarding his relationships with others, including Mary Jane Watson, Dr. Otto Octavius, Aunt May, and Miles Morales, and Yuri Lowenthal\u2019s performance as the character is fantastic.<\/p>\n<p>    <!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><!-- No AdsNinja v10 Client! --><\/p>\n<p>Insomniac has the privilege of crafting its own Marvel continuity for its <em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em> franchise (<em>Marvel\u2019s Wolverine<\/em>, too), and part of that undertaking demanded worldbuilding and novel designs for characters in its <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/spider-man-horror-series-midnight\/\" target=\"_blank\">new Spider-Man mythology<\/a>, eight years into Peter\u2019s crime-fighting career. This is because of fans\u2019 \u201c<em>visceral reaction<\/em>\u201d to what would soon become Insomniac\u2019s Spider-Man signature via <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/best-spider-man-modern-suit-video-game-legacy-changes\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em>\u2019s Advanced Suit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Stevenson acknowledges that there was indeed a positive response to <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/spider-man-video-game-2017-trailer-insomniac-games\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em>\u2019s reveal teaser<\/a>, but the response to the white spider must have been considerably negative if it nearly resulted in such a profound change to the game and the suit\u2019s identity. Thankfully, Stevenson \u201c<em>spent a huge chunk of that next week<\/em> <em>with <\/em>[<em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em> creative director Bryan Intihar] <em>trying to calm people down internally<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The developers fought for the white spider to stay, and Stevenson remarks on that being the \u201c<em>correct decision<\/em>.\u201d Plus, as Stevenson mentions, there are abundant suits in <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/marvels-spider-man-2-review\/\" target=\"_blank\">Insomniac\u2019s <em>Marvel\u2019s Spider-Man<\/em> games<\/a> for anyone who disliked it. Either way, there\u2019s no doubt that it\u2019s been an easy way to distinguish the <em><strong>Marvel&#8217;s Spider-Man<\/strong><\/em> version of the character from a bottomless sea of Spider-Men,
